An IT incident 'disconnects' Son Llàtzer Hospital

The breakdown has affected the SISN2 system for an hour, a key tool for managing patient data used by doctors and nurses.

PalmThe computer system of Son Llàtzer University Hospital has stopped working since early this morning, between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM due to a router failure. The system was progressively restored, and by 11:00 AM everything was operational, according to B-Salut. The breakdown affected the SISN2 software, implemented in December 2022 as the health information system for level 2 hospitals, and used by medical and nursing professionals to manage patient data. The incident has prevented the normal development of healthcare activities. "We cannot visit patients," assure the center's healthcare workers.
