Denounce the creation of six new boarding gates at Palma airport

It could mean the arrival of up to two million more passengers per year

PalmaThe 'Less Tourism, More Life' platform has publicly denounced the creation of six new boarding gates in module D of Palma airport. This expansion, the platform has criticized in a message published on its X social network account, has occurred during the works being carried out at Son Sant Joan.

"Although the Spanish government and Aena deny the expansion of Palma airport, after months of maintenance in module D, six new boarding gates have appeared with which capacity and flights can be increased," it pointed out.

'Less Tourism, More Life' has accompanied the publication with two photographs of the signs indicating the boarding gates, one from before the works and another from after. In the first, the highest is D99, while in the second it is D105.

The platform has also calculated that with the planned expansions, Son Sant Joan will be able to receive around two million more passengers per year.
