PalmPalma City Council will activate a special bus service reinforcement plan this Sunday for the match between RCE Mallorca and RCE Espanyol at the Mallorca Son Moix stadium at 2:00 PM. The plan includes increased service on lines L8 and L33 to facilitate fans' arrival at the stadium and their return to Palma city center after the match. The aim is to expedite entry and exit, encourage the use of public transport, and reduce the presence of private vehicles in the stadium area. Specifically, line L8—which connects Sindicat with Son Moix—will have additional buses in the hours leading up to the match. These services will be in addition to the regular frequency, which is approximately every 15 minutes during that time. Once the match has finished, fans can take buses from both the L8 and L33 lines, which will be parked at the stadium entrance on Camino de los Reyes. Heading towards the city center, the L8 will follow its usual route to the Sindicato interchange. As for the increased service on the L33 line, it will take passengers to the Camp Redó and Matadero neighborhoods and along the General Riera corridor to Son Fuster. This service will also pass through the Plaça d'Espanya interchange, facilitating connections with other bus lines. Additionally, users of the BiciPalma municipal bike-sharing service can use the new virtual station located near Son Moix, allowing subscribers to cycle to the match.
