"Today I went to your hospital and used the Catalan option on the self-admission machine. It turns out the ticket is full of spelling mistakes. Mistakes worthy of the most outdated Gonella-era practices and a lack of respect for the Catalan language," the complainant criticized.

Furthermore, in the post, he also detailed that the machine uses flags to select the language, and to represent Catalan, it displays the flag of the Balearic Islands. "Imagine this means you have two options for the same language: standard Catalan for Catalonia and poorly written Catalan for the Balearic Islands," he lamented.

The citizen who made the incident public and reported it through the Plataforma por la Llengua's (Platform for the Language) complaints channel stated that the situation was frustrating and disrespectful to Catalan-speaking customers who have the right to be served in their language "without it being used ridiculously and with an accent." However, he encouraged them to correct it.
