A fire burns a clothing store in Can Picafort and forces the evacuation of four homes

PalmaA fire has burned a clothing store this Monday in Can Picafort, in the municipality of Santa Margalida. The fire has forced the evacuation of four homes and the commercial premises itself, according to Bombers de Mallorca.

Firefighters from the Alcúdia and Artà stations have moved to the scene to intervene in the fire and prevent the flames from spreading to other properties. According to information provided by the Mallorca Fire Department, the causes of the fire have not yet been revealed.

The SAMU, for its part, has reported the transfer of a firefighter injured by an electric shock to the Muro Hospital. Another person had to be treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
