A firefighter was seriously injured while extinguishing a blaze in Inca.

PalmA firefighter was injured this Wednesday while extinguishing a fire that burned a hectare of stubble in Inca. The firefighter, from the Inca fire station, suffered serious burns in the blaze that broke out next to the Constancia stadium, on Avenida Jaume I, and which was attended by firefighters from the Mallorca Fire Department and the Ibanat (National Fire Service).

The firefighter required treatment for second-degree wounds to his leg and arm. The Alcudia fire station was also activated. A total of eight fire crews and the helicopter were involved. MilanaDue to the fire, four people were injured by smoke inhalation, although not poisoned, and were treated at the scene.
