German tourist dies by drowning in Peguera

PalmaA 73-year-old German national died drowning this Tuesday at Caló de les Llises, in Peguera (Mallorca).

According to information from SAMU 061, the incident occurred at 13:25. Rescuers and bathers rescued the man from the water and began resuscitation maneuvers until paramedics arrived.

Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and the personnel assisted the patient, who suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. The paramedics performed advanced life support maneuvers, but were unable to revive him and finally certified his death.
