MÁS por Mallorca demands an "immediate" audit of the state of the railway tracks.

PalmMÁS por Mallorca is demanding an "immediate" audit of the state of the train tracks in a Non-Law Proposal (PNL) on the "delays" and "lack of maintenance" of the service, which has been registered by the party in the Parliament.
In a press release, MÁS por Mallorca has reported that it has registered a PNL in the Parliament in which it demands, among other things, an audit of the state of the train tracks. The party understands that "one of the causes of the delays are the temporary speed limits on some parts of the route, which force people to travel more slowly and, therefore, have longer journeys."
"The problem, however," argued MÁS MP Ferran Rosa, "is that these eventualities are too often structural and cause some services to be systematically delayed longer than the schedules indicate," which "has an impact on users who not only take longer to make the journey, but also."
Resolving this situation "necessarily implies improving the condition of the line, allowing for optimal speed operations, and, until this happens, improving transparency and information for users," Rosa stated. Therefore, the parliamentary initiative also urges the Government to modify its schedules when temporary speed limits persist that prevent compliance with the planned speed limits.
MÁS also proposes adapting the TIB schedules to these circumstances that impede connections, particularly in municipalities that depend on the train-bus connection, such as Alaró, Consell, Mancor del Valle, Selva, María de la Salud, Sant Joan, Campanet, and Búger, among others. Finally, to improve the quality of service, MÁS por Mallorca is calling for an "immediate" increase in station staff.
