A man arrested for masturbating in front of a group of minors on a train in Palma.
He is accused of the crime of exhibitionism.
PalmThe National Police have arrested a man for allegedly masturbating in front of a woman and a group of minors inside the carriage of one of the trains heading to Palma from the Part Forana.
According to the armed force, a passenger observed the suspect touching his private parts. At one point, a group of underage dolls entered the carriage and the man continued to touch him "with greater insistence," although the girls apparently did not notice.
The woman recorded the scene with her mobile phone and, upon verifying that he was indeed masturbating, she stood between him and the minors, warning them of what was happening. Moments later, she managed to contact the railway security guards by phone and, when the train arrived at the Intermodal station, they approached the man and notified the police.
A patrol car was at the station covering another service and was in charge of the intervention. The officers interviewed the security guards and the witness, who explained what happened. The woman showed the video she had recorded to the police, and moments later the officers also interviewed the minors. They were frightened and said they didn't get to see the man's private parts, but they noticed how he stared at them the whole time.
In response, the suspect, a Spanish national, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
