A man stabs his son in a street in Palma

PalmA 52-year-old man stabbed his 22-year-old son after an argument in the middle of a street in Palma. According to information provided by the SAMU (Emergency Medical Service), the incident occurred late Tuesday in Orson Welles Square in Son Gotleu. During the altercation, the young man suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and was treated by an Advanced Life Support ambulance before being transferred to Son Espases University Hospital after being stabilized. The alleged assailant also sustained multiple contusions, was treated by paramedics, and taken to a hospital. Agents from the Family and Women's Unit (UFAM) of the National Police have taken charge of the investigation, and initial findings suggest that the attack occurred after the injured young man and his sister, who was also injured, attempted to intervene during an argument between the man and his partner.
