Mobofest will receive 20,000 euros from the Ministry for its next edition
The member of parliament explained that he had managed to get the Ministry to grant a specific subsidy to the festival.
PalmVicenç Vidal, a member of parliament for the Sumar MÁS party, announced on Saturday a €20,000 grant from the Ministry of Culture for the Mobofest festival. In a press release, Vidal explained that, through his negotiations, he secured a €20,000 grant from the Ministry of Culture, headed by Ernest Urtasun, for Mobofest, recognizing "its excellent work in consolidating a festival conceived and implemented decades ago." Vidal added that this support for Mobofest "is part of a broader package of direct aid to projects and organizations in the Balearic Islands that strengthen the region's culture in a democratic and globally inclusive way, such as the Obra Cultural Balear, CineCiutat, and Casa Planas." The MÉS representative for Mallorca, affiliated with the Sumar Parliamentary Group, added that, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the idea is to consolidate "a plan to support Balearic culture."
