More than 70 artists and friends join together to empower Jaume Anglada: "We call your name."

They have recorded a video wishing the singer a recovery.

PalmMore than 70 friends, colleagues, artists, musicians, and institutional representatives from Mallorca have paid tribute to singer-songwriter Jaume Anglada in a video posted on social media. Anglada has been hospitalized since August 8, when he was struck by a drunk driver on his motorcycle in Palma.

Artists such as the popular Tomeu Penya have sent him messages of encouragement and support. "I hope that sooner rather than later we can do a concert together," he says. Other friends of the Mallorcan singer, such as actress Llum Barrera, have wished him a speedy recovery: "We have a wine due, and you are a man of your word, so please, be strong."

"Life is a movie, and what happened to you is a plot twist," says film director Marcos Cabotá in the video, which also features members of the band Los Secretos, who encourage Anglada to "keep fighting."

Hespeaker Real Mallorca's star and Mallorcan DJ, Jaume Colombàs, also dedicated a few words to him from the Son Moix stadium: "We need a good partner, a fan, and I'm sure you'll get through this, because we will win this match."

Among other artists and well-known figures in Balearic society, Miquel Àngel Nadal expressed his desire to see Anglada on stage again. For his part, chef Andreu Genestra, in a heartfelt message, reminded him that he has always been by his side when he needed him.

The President of the Government, Marga Prohens, also joined the messages of support: "And suddenly you have all the islands calling your name, until day turns to night and until we lose our voices."

Other authorities, such as the mayor of Palma, the president of the Consell de Mallorca, and the councilor for Culture in Cort have also shown their support.

According to the latest medical report from the Son Espases University Hospital, Anglada was transferred this Wednesday to an intermediate care unit, within the ICU, where patients who are more stable are being treated. The medical team at the reference hospital in the Balearic Islands continues to monitor the clinical progress of the Mallorcan singer-songwriter, a personal friend of King Felipe VI.

Palma's Investigating Court No. 7, acting on duty, has ordered the provisional imprisonment of the 20-year-old driver who ran over the singer-songwriter on Avenida Joan Miró and then fled the scene.
