Night train and more frequent service to San Antonio and San Sebastián

Mallorca Railway Services extends service until January 20th to facilitate mobility and ensure safe participation in traditional celebrations

PalmTo mark the San Antonio and San Sebastián festivities, Mallorca Railway Services (SFM) has announced an extensive schedule of night trains and additional services to facilitate travel by public transport during these celebrations, which will last until January 20. The measure aims to reduce pressure on the roads and promote more sustainable mobility during the holidays.

San Antonio

For the Sant Antoni festival, which takes place on Friday night/Saturday morning, SFM has arranged special Palma-Sa Pobla trains departing at 7:05 p.m., in addition to three Inca-Sa Pobla services at 8:38 p.m., 9:38 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. In the opposite direction, the return journey includes three Sa Pobla-Inca services at 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., and 10:15 p.m., and one Sa Pobla-Palma service at 12:15 a.m. During the night, there will be overnight trains from Palma to Sa Pobla at 11:15 p.m., 1:15 a.m., and 3:15 a.m., and from Palma to Manacor at 12:15 a.m., 2:15 a.m., and 4:15 a.m. Return departures will be from Sa Pobla at 0:45 and 04:45, and from Manacor at 23:30 and 03:30. SFM has also reinforced its service throughout Friday afternoon, as well as on Saturday and Sunday, to accommodate the increased number of passengers and ensure the safe travel of those attending the celebrations. Regarding the San Sebastián festivities, which culminate with the open-air dance on Monday night into Tuesday morning, the service has been reinforced with special trains running from early Saturday afternoon and Sunday. During the dance, there will be twelve night services connecting Sa Pobla and Manacor with Palma in both directions. Departures from Manacor to Palma will be at 11:30 p.m., 1:30 a.m., and 3:30 a.m., while departures from Sa Pobla to Palma will be at 12:45 a.m., 2:45 a.m., and 4:45 a.m. From Palma, three Palma-Manacor services are scheduled (12:15 a.m., 2:15 a.m., and 4:15 a.m.) and three Palma-Sa Pobla services (11:15 p.m., 1:15 a.m., and 3:15 a.m.). The service on Tuesday, San Sebastián Day, will follow the usual holiday schedule.
