PalmOrdering a Glovo, a matcha tea, and having brunch are some of the typical phrases you'd never use if you weren't from Palma. This is according to the Ximbomba Agency's account, whose video encourages people to share sayings that aren't commonly heard in smaller towns.
"Where is Zara Home? I'll look it up on Google Maps," "This corral isPet Friendly"Where's the parking meter?", "Where's the meter?", and "I want a gluten-free avocado toast" are some of the examples that appear in the post. With this video, the marketing agency simply shows how city life is more globalized and marked by modern trends, while in small towns, it's more about youth.
The comments on the video came pouring in. Although most agree, many Palma residents also claim that they don't use most of these expressions, suggesting that the clichés and stereotypes associated with city dwellers are more realistic than they seem, and more than many would like to admit.
