Palma reinforces EMT lines for the Mallorca-Celta match this Saturday.
At the end of the match, users will be able to directly access the buses for both the L8 and L33 lines, which will be parked at the stadium entrance.
PalmPalma City Council will launch a special EMT bus reinforcement program this Saturday, August 23rd, for the match between RCE Mallorca and Celta de Vigo at Son Moix Stadium at 5:00 PM.
As explained by Cort in a press release, the objective is to "speed up the entry and exit of fans and facilitate travel by public transport" by reinforcing the L8 and L33 lines, which connect the stadium with the city center and other neighborhoods of Palma.
The EMT will reinforce the L8 line (Sindicato-Estadio Mallorca Son Moix), which already operates with an average frequency of 12 minutes during this time slot. At the end of the match, users will be able to directly board both the L8 and L33 buses, which will be parked at the stadium entrance, on the Camino de los Reyes.
Line 8 will maintain its usual route to the Sindicat interchange, while line 33 will facilitate return to the Camp Redó and Matadero neighborhoods, running along General Riera to Son Fuster and also passing through Plaça d'Espanya, allowing connections to other lines. Furthermore, the SMAP has reminded BiciPalma users that they can use the new virtual station located near Son Moix, an option that will allow fans to travel to the match by bike.
