In a message posted on social media, President Prohens explained that the Ibiza Island Council has taken advantage of the repatriation process for seven Algerian minors from Ibiza, initiated at Algeria's request, to request the return of the more than 70 minors it has in the institution's care.
The president indicated that the regional government joins this request and is also asking for the return of the 304 Algerian minors currently under guardianship on the islands. "The authorities must work to ensure that these minors are with their parents," the regional leader stated.
