Registration is now open for the Correllengua Hermanado relay race
The race will cover more than 1,500 kilometers through all Catalan-speaking territories.
PalmThe Correllengua Agermanat organization has opened registration for the relay race legs, which will cover more than 1,500 kilometers across all Catalan-speaking territories from April 19 to May 5, 2026. How to register
To register, you only need the participant's first and last name, as well as an email address. An email will be automatically sent to this address containing the exact coordinates of the registration point. The routes—which measure between one and two kilometers—are mostly designed for running, although there are also some for cycling.
The organizers encourage maximum participation and call upon all entities, schools, associations, and individuals in Catalan-speaking territories to join this project, which aims to demonstrate the vitality and unity of our language.
The Correllengua Agermanat is a non-competitive, community relay race that aims to carry the flame of the Catalan language throughout all the territories that share it. The initiative, promoted by Jóvenes de Mallorca por la Llengua (Youth of Mallorca for Language) and the result of collaboration with more than one hundred organizations, starts at Pompeu Fabra's tomb in Prada de Conflent and will reach Alghero on May 5th. Along the route, which is divided into 17 stages and will stop in some 80 municipalities, concerts, workshops, meetings, and sporting and cultural activities open to all citizens will be organized. Each stage will become a community celebration that puts the language at the heart of daily life and asserts the right to live fully in Catalan.
