PalmThe groups associated with the historic alternative festivals of 'Sant Kanut' and 'Orgull Llonguet' have once again organized a series of events and activities as part of the San Sebastián festivities, differentiating themselves, as in previous years, from the official program offered by the Palma City Council. For its part, Orgull Llonguet will celebrate its traditional "languetada" (a local tradition) on Saturday the 18th, visiting various establishments. During the day, the giant papier-mâché figures Pep Toni Rubio, Bel Rotlet, and Miquel de sa Pelleteria will parade through different parts of the city, accompanied by traditional musicians known as xeremiers.

On January 19th, the night of the festival, the organization has arranged the 'Revetla Llongueta'. The self-organized party will begin at 11:00 PM, in front of the Celler Bellver, on Can Serinyà Street. Following this, the opening speech will be given by Clara Ingold, and the giant figures and the dragon will appear.

La Santa Pincha

Podemos has unveiled the poster for the second edition of San Sebastián Q+, an "inclusive" proposal. queer and politically engaged" under the name La Santa Punxada. The presentation included the participation of Víctor Conejo, head of culture for Podemos Palma, and Lucía Muñoz, a city councilor for the party.

Podemos's proposal, which will take place starting at 6:00 p.m. in Santa Eulàlia Square, envisions a non-normative celebration, one that challenges expectations and demonstrates solidarity with the people. Lucía Muñoz emphasized the reference to Palestine on the poster and reminded everyone that this San Sebastián festival, we must continue to talk about Gaza.
