PalmHurricane Alice has severely affected Ibiza and Formentera, as well as parts of Mallorca. This has led the Spanish Government's General Directorate of Emergencies to send mass ES-Alert messages. At 4:58 p.m., it was sent to Formentera, at 5:22 p.m. in Ibiza, and at 6:26 p.m. in the eastern, northeastern, and northern parts of Mallorca. Furthermore, the INUNBAL Plan has also been activated on all the islands, but in different operational situations: Operational Situation 2 (SO-2) in Ibiza and Formentera, SO-1 in Mallorca, and SO-0 in Menorca.

Likewise, the orange alert (IG-1) of the METEOBAL Plan remains active for all the Balearic Islands.

The Emergency Coordination Center is working intensively to manage and coordinate all necessary operations to resolve the ongoing incidents.

The Ibiza Council has closed the road at the airport and suspended transport services throughout the island. According to the Administration, the road to the airport has been completely closed, and an alternative service has been provided via the Sant Josep road. However, it has been opened only for strictly necessary travel.

In addition, the Sant Antoni road has been partially closed due to flooding; specifically, the section between the Corazón de Jesús industrial estate and Ibiza. At 7:00 p.m., the bus service resumed operations in areas least affected by the rain. The CETIS station is closed, and buses are stopping outside.

The Puig d'en Valls underpass has also been closed due to flooding. Therefore, the Island Council has requested that only strictly necessary travel be carried out.

Storm Alice has left a total of 883 users affected by power outages in the Balearic Islands, according to the 112 Emergency Service. By island, 576 users are affected in Formentera after a lightning strike cut a power line.
