A fire declared this Thursday at 6:45 a.m. in paper and plastic containers on Ticia street in Palma has generated an intense plume of smoke and has forced the Local Police to cordon off the area while several units of the Palma Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
During the performance, a loud bang was heard accompanied by a flash, possibly caused by a short circuit in an electrical panel or other factors. The performance ended when firefighters extinguished the flames that had spread to the entire block of containers. The fire also affected, apparently superficially, the wall of a ground floor and a first floor, and the door of a ground-floor commercial premises.
