The Alcudia City Council has reported residents to the Civil Guard for accusations about the layout of the power cable.
The Alcudia council assures that at no time have the names of private owners been taken into account.

PalmThe Alcudia City Council has filed a complaint with the Civil Guard following the accusations spread by the Anaca platform that has questioned the transparency of the project due to "suspicious coincidences" that have accompanied successive changes in the route of the high-voltage cable in Alcudia (the Penbal 2 project). The City Council points out that these statements "are completely false and lack any foundation, and constitute a direct attack on the honor and image of the municipal corporation."
As explained in a statement, the route of the power cable has been agreed upon by Red Eléctrica, the Ministry for Ecological Transition, the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Mallorca Council, the Alcudia City Council, and the VAAC neighborhood platform, based exclusively on technical criteria and with the aim of reducing the number of passes through homes by 67%.
The Alcudia council assures that at no time have the names of private owners been taken into account, so "any insinuation in this regard is absolutely false."
The Alcudia City Council will act with all necessary firmness to defend its honorability and that of its representatives, and will take all appropriate legal action against those who make unfounded accusations.
