Officers arrested him, and he is now in police custody awaiting arraignment. The man has invoked his right to remain silent.

It should be remembered that the Police had identified him since Monday after the car's co-pilot, also injured in the accident, was located by officers after calling an ambulance from the Molinar neighborhood.
A 31-year-old man died in the traffic accident that occurred at the Fan Mallorca Shopping roundabout towards Mercapalma, in Palma. When the police and emergency services officers arrived at the scene, they only found the deceased's car, as the other car involved had fled the scene. The Local Police investigation determined that the fleeing car invaded the opposite lane under circumstances unknown at the moment, and collided with the deceased.
According to information provided by the SAMU (National Traffic Safety Administration), the accident, a traffic collision between two cars, occurred minutes before 1:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
