Fatal accident in Palma: the other driver involved has fled and the National Police are searching for him to arrest him.
The National Police and the Local Police of Palma have launched an investigation to locate and arrest the driver of the other vehicle.
PalmA 31-year-old man died early this morning in a traffic accident at the roundabout near Mercapalma, in Palma, in which the other driver involved fled.
The accident occurred a few minutes before 1 a.m. and, as a result of the collision between the two vehicles, one of the occupants died, reported 061. When medical personnel arrived at the scene, there was nothing they could do to save the man's life. The emergency services were notified by other vehicles that, when they passed by the area, saw the car destroyed.
The National Police and the Palma Local Police have now begun an investigation to determine what happened in the accident and to locate and arrest the driver of the other vehicle involved, who has now been identified. The other occupant of the fleeing vehicle has already been located by local police officers. The man was injured and was found in El Molinar.
