He used his climbing skills and parkour proficiency to burglarize homes. The National Police, in collaboration with the Manacor Local Police, have arrested a man as the suspected perpetrator of five burglaries after he was caught scaling the facade of a house. The incident occurred last Friday afternoon on a street in the center of Manacor, when a neighbor alerted the police after spotting a man hiding and attempting to climb onto the terrace of a first-floor apartment. Police officers who arrived at the scene saw the suspect break the glass of the terrace, located about four meters high, and enter the building. Upon seeing the police, the thief fled across the neighboring rooftops after pushing open a rear window. He left traces of blood both inside the apartment and on the street. Police coordinated an operation to close off possible escape routes while numerous witnesses reported seeing a man in dark clothing with a bloodied face. Seriously injured
Given the possibility that he was seriously injured, the officers contacted a nearby hospital to be notified should the suspect seek treatment. Minutes later, a man with a significant nose injury arrived at the emergency room, and the medical staff alerted the police. The officers went to the hospital and arrested the man for burglary. The thief is believed to be responsible for four other recent burglaries, one of them that very morning, which he committed by using a step and forcing entry.
