Three arrested for assaulting a man and robbing him of 25,000 euros in Son Gotleu

PalmaThe National Police have arrested three men in Palma as alleged perpetrators of a violent robbery after assaulting another man and stealing 25,000 euros in cash. The events date back to early April, when the victim, who filed a complaint, was at a bar in the Son Gotleu neighborhood with a significant amount of money, as he was negotiating the purchase of a property in the area.

According to the investigation, the man began to talk with another customer of the establishment, who even lent him money to play the slot machines. Hours later, the individual returned to the premises accompanied by two more men and an argument ensued with the victim, after which all three left the establishment.

Upon realizing that part of the money was missing, the complainant went out into the street after them and was assaulted by the three men, who hit him and kicked him until he fell to the ground, at which point they took all the money he was carrying. As a result of the assault, the man suffered several injuries, including a fractured nasal bone.

The National Police launched an investigation that led to the identification of the three alleged perpetrators, who were at an unknown location.

Finally, Citizen Security agents arrested the suspects on May 20 and 21. At the time of the arrest, one was carrying approximately 2,700 euros in cash.
