Very seriously injured a three-year-old boy who has fallen from a first floor in Inca
The minor is admitted to Son Espases with a traumatic brain injury
PalmaA three-year-old boy has been very seriously injured after falling from the first floor of a building in Inca. The events, as reported by SAMU 061, took place this Wednesday around 4 p.m. on Mossèn Andreu Caimari street. According to initial hypotheses, it could have been an accidental fall while he was playing.
It was a neighbor of the area who, after hearing the victim's mother's screams and observing the events, contacted 112, which activated the emergency services. The minor, who was initially reported to be two years old, fell from the first floor of a building in circumstances that are not yet known, but which the Guardia Civil is already investigating.
The impact caused him a severe cranioencephalic trauma. Paramedics attended to him and transferred him to Son Espases University Hospital, where he was admitted in a very serious condition.
Investigators, as indicated to Europa Press by sources close to the inquiries, have gone to the hospital to try to gather more information about the incident.
It is planned, as is usual in these types of cases, that those who were in the building when the minor fell will be interviewed. However, according to the Guardia Civil, there are no witnesses to what happened.
The boy, three years old and of Senegalese origin, is in serious but stable condition, awaiting tests to determine possible internal bleeding.
