Water reserves in Cúber and Gorg Blau are nearing 65% after the rains

In one week, the rains caused a combined increase in reserves of 5.7%.

PalmThe combined water levels of the Cúber and Gorg Blau reservoirs have risen to 64.82% of their capacity following the recent rains in Mallorca. Specifically, according to data from Palma City Council, the Cúber reservoir is at 52.81% of its capacity and the Gorg Blau reservoir at 72.88%. The previous Monday, after several days of rainfall in the Balearic Islands, the combined water levels of the two reservoirs managed by the municipal company Emaya stood at 59.1%. Cúber was at 48.15% of its capacity and Gorg Blau at 66%. Thus, in one week, the rains have led to a combined increase in water levels of 5.7%. The increase was 4.66% for Cúber and 6.88% for Gorg Blau. The water reserves in both reservoirs have also increased compared to the same period last year. As of February 3, 2025, the combined reserve was 49.46%, 15.36% lower than now. The reserve in Cúber was 39.17% and in Gorg Blau 56.37%, representing decreases of 13.64% and 16.51%, respectively, compared to the beginning of this week.
