By airport, Palma saw 1.6 million international passengers in September (+0.9%) and Ibiza saw 407,000 (+1.8%). Between January and September, Son Sant Joan Airport saw 10.6 million passengers (+2.6%) and Ibiza Airport saw 2.4 million (+2.5%).
Likewise, of the total number of international passengers received by the Balearic Islands during the first nine months of the year, 4.2 million arrived at the airports on traditional airlines and 9.7 million did so on low-cost airlines.
In September, the six main destination autonomous communities accounted for 97.1% of total arrivals.
Across the country, Spain received 86.3 million international passengers during the first nine months of 2025, 5.6% more than in the same months of 2024. In September, Spanish airports received nearly 11 million international passengers, a figure that stands at 2.8%.
