The week kicks off, Tuesday the 15th, with John Maus at the Sant Domingo de Pollença cloister. He makes his debut in Mallorca with a magnetic and unique performance. Alone on stage and with an intense and almost cathartic staging, Maus—philosopher and performer, composer and provocateur—presents a live performance that transcends the nostalgia of synth pop and connects with a raw and disarming search for truth. Although often associated with retrofuturism for its eighties aesthetic, its music conveys an emotional tension that hits hard and lingers.

On Thursday the 17th, the same cloister will host a unique double bill: Wings of Desire, also performing for the first time in Mallorca. They arrive from London with a dark and elegant British-rooted dream pop that channels the cultural and musical memory of the 20th century to speak to our time. With influences from Bowie, krautrock, and Factory Records, they connect introspection and energy with a sound that evokes contemporary emotional landscapes.

They will share the stage with José Domingo, a Mallorcan-born artist who is celebrating a decade of disco.Almeríaand presents a new EP full of Mediterranean nuances, flamenco echoes, and poetic psychedelia. With a consolidated band, their sound draws on rock, folk, and popular song, always from a personal and courageous perspective.

On Friday the 18th, Lina_'s voice and Marco Mezquida's piano will come together to fuse fado and jazz in a refreshing and emotional performance. The project, which unites Portugal and Menorca, is based on respect for tradition by proposing a lively repertoire full of scenic complicity. Their collaboration gives life to a sound space without borders, where improvised music and contemporary lyricism coexist naturally.

Finally, on Saturday the 19th, Inca's Teatro Principal will be the stage for Jay-Jay Johanson, known as one of thecroonersmost sophisticated on the European scene. WithBackstage, her fifteenth album, Johanson maintains her vaporous elegance and incorporates new recordings: a song in French dedicated to Rimbaud, a duet with the actor Harry Goaz and a version ofLuxuriousthat caresses Mancini's heritage. All imbued with that vaporous and elegant sound that has defined him since his debut withWhiskey(1996), when it began to whisper of storms. One of the most anticipated concerts of the festival that looks out at the world without ceasing to sound from here.
