PalmaThe Nit de l’Art celebrated its 30th anniversary on Saturday with more than 50 exhibitions and the participation of over a hundred artists. The event brought together galleries, museums, and cultural spaces in Palma, but also in Andratx, Pollença, and Santanyí.

30th anniversary of the Nit de l'Art.

The 16 galleries associated with Art Palma Contemporani prepared a special program with exhibitions, performances, and activities. The program also enjoyed the participation of spaces such as Es Baluard, the Fundació Miró Mallorca, CaixaForum Palma, the Fundació Juan March, the Casal Solleric, Can Balaguer, la Llotja, la Misericòrdia, and the Museu de Mallorca.

In Palma, the Casal Solleric inaugurated two exhibitions, one of which was Club Miseria: The Last Beat, by Bel Fullana, while the Fundació Miró Mallorca presented installations by Pedro Torres and Isabel Servera. At la Misericòrdia, the program included various artistic proposals, music, and dance.

The Night also incorporated free guided tours and cultural activities to bring the different proposals closer to the public. The Nit de l’Art was born in 1997 as an initiative of the gallery sector and, three decades later, it has established itself as one of the main annual events for contemporary art in Mallorca.
