This second edition continues the success of last year and is organized by the Vilafranca City Council with the coordination of Jordi Rosselló, with the support of the Consell de Mallorca. Particularly collaborating are Obra Cultural Balear, the Taller de fang Danita Huguet, Llibreria Embat – which set up a stall with the publications of the participating authors and offered book signings – and the d’Eliss restaurant, which provided the space for the event.
BOOK MARKET
Besides the marathon, Vilafranca will also host the already traditional Book Market with the participation of various local bookstores and entities. It will take place on April 26th in the Plaza Mayor and, as is customary, will conclude the extensive program of the Book Week in the municipality.
The Book Week also includes other cultural activities for all audiences, such as storytelling, family theater, book presentations, reading club discussions, and guided tours of the library, all focused on the promotion of reading and the world of books.
