Emergency services 112 maintains the orange alert for rough seas and the yellow alert for wind and rain in almost the entire archipelago.

PalmThe Balearic Islands continue to be affected by Storm Harry this Tuesday, with an orange alert for rough seas and yellow alerts for wind and rain in various parts of the archipelago, according to Emergency Services 112 and the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The orange alert for coastal phenomena, which activates level 1 of the Meteobal Plan, affects Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, while the yellow alert for wind is in effect on all the islands. Menorca is the only island with a specific alert for rain. Aemet maintains the yellow alert for rain in Ibiza, Formentera, and the Tramuntana mountain range until 6:00 PM, while the wind alert will remain in effect until the same time in the Pitiusas Islands and the North Island, until midnight, and until midnight. Gusts of between 70 and 80 km/h are expected. Regarding the wind, very strong gusts have been recorded in the last 24 hours, with a maximum of 105.8 km/h in the Alfàbia mountain range and 96.1 km/h in Cabrera. As for precipitation, the rain was persistent and left up to 100 liters per square meter in the Tramuntana mountain range. Authorities recommend taking extreme precautions, especially on the coast, avoiding areas exposed to strong waves, and securing objects that could be blown away by the wind, as well as staying informed through official channels.
