PalmThe People's Party (PP) backed down and, during the final budget debate, accepted a Vox amendment that it had rejected in the parliamentary committee. It involves allocating €250,000 for IB3 to produce a documentary or series on "republican repression" in the Balearic Islands during the Civil War. This was confirmed by parliamentary sources.

This is one of the 40 amendments that the far right has presented to the budget, and which was approved in the first session of the parliamentary debate, as it corresponded to the Ministry of the Presidency. Vox made this proposal after the new director of IB3, Josep Codony—who took office on April 8th with the PP and Vox—decided to liquidate the anti-Franco series.Norados.

The two surprises of the first day of the debate were this and Vox's decision to reject the government's salary increase proposed by the PP. To do so, it had to vote in favor of an initiative by MÉS por Mallorca, contrary to the commitment it had made to the Popular Party (PP) not to support any left-wing amendments.
