'Merry Christmas': The leader of the Balearic PP plays a Christmas carol in the plenary session of the Parliament
Sebastià Sagreras has even danced from his seat in the hemicycle
PalmNeither the crossfire between the PP and the PSIB during the question period nor the lengthy debate on the Decree-Law for accelerating projects managed to dampen the Christmas spirit of the PP leader, Sebastià Sagreras. At the end of the last plenary session of the year in Parliament, he laid down his microphone and played the song on his phone. Merry Christmas, by British singer-songwriters Ed Sheeran and Elton John. Sagreras has even dared to dance from his seat.
"It's a custom that comes from the previous legislature," he explains in statements to ARA Baleares: "We do it for no reason, to add a touch of Christmas."
