PalmaA judge in Palma has summoned the former president of the Parliament, Baltasar Picornell, to testify as an investigated party, following a lawsuit filed by Vox deputy in Congress, Jorge Campos, after he referred to him as a "Nazi whore". Picornell himself reported the judicial summons on social media. The appearance is scheduled for June 11 at section of instruction number 8 of the Court of Instance of Palma.

"Leave this here before the fascist media start spreading shit. Calm down, I'm not involved in anything with former president Zapatero. A photograph, a story, and a lot of thin skin from a far-right Spanish figure have led to this," Picornell wrote.

The former president of the Parliament has published on several occasions an image on his social media in which he appears next to a graffiti with the message "J. Campos, Nazi whore". In some cases, he had done so in response to publications by the Vox deputy, who has finally filed a lawsuit for the events.

"Always on Balti Picornell's team. It doesn't matter when you read this, because between good and bad people we must never be on the wrong side," he said.
