PalmNational Police officers in Palma have arrested a man of German origin for allegedly committing a crime of bodily harm. During the night between Saturday and Sunday, a young man of Swiss nationality began to harass an access control agent at a leisure establishment in Playa de Palma. The victim, who was trying to enter in an apparently inappropriate manner, got into an argument with the establishment's staff, and at one point, one of the control agents threw two cans of beer at him in quick succession, without causing any injury.

Suddenly, the victim was punched in the face by the establishment's employee. The blow caused the young man to fall backward and hit his head on the ground. This caused several skull fractures and the loss of a tooth.

At that moment, several people tried to help the victim and assisted him at the scene, until medical personnel and a National Police patrol arrived moments later. Upon arrival, the attacker had fled the scene after seeing the consequences of his attack.

The victim was taken to Son Espases Hospital in a very serious condition due to the head trauma he suffered and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Hours later, after carrying out several raids in the area, National Police officers found the worker and arrested him for allegedly committing a crime of bodily harm.
