PalmA discovery of almost 700 kilos of cocaine has been key to the massive anti-money laundering operation in Mallorca, which erupted this Monday with searches of various properties in Mallorca and sent lawyer Gonzalo Márquez and the leader of the United Tribuns motorcycle gang, Stefan Milojevic, to prison.

This is stated in the court order, to which Europa Press has had access. In this document, the judge also states that based on the investigation carried out so far, it can be determined that since the beginning of 2024, a group of people has been operating in Mallorca, led by Milojevic, dedicated to drug trafficking, mainly cocaine and hashish.

The judge investigating this massive case involving money laundering, public health, criminal group, illegal weapons possession, and bribery believes the gang is behind a large shipment of 675 kilos of cocaine that was seized hidden in the port of Valencia.

The judge identified other individuals as members of the organization, including lawyer Gonzalo Márquez, who was also arrested. At that time, a search was carried out at the home of one of them, resulting in the seizure of approximately 11 kilos of cocaine and two kilos of hashish. €1.2 million was seized in a storage room, to which he had a key.

Also seized were 59 bales of hashish weighing 40 kilos each, which were seized at the port of Ibiza, although this remains in the hands of an Ibiza court.
