Several arrests were made in a police operation against money laundering at law firms in Mallorca.

PalmThe National Police and Civil Guard are searching law offices and other properties in various locations in Mallorca, Palma, and several places in the Part Forana region as part of a joint operation against money laundering. Several arrests have been made throughout the day.

The searches began this morning at various locations on the island allegedly linked to a money laundering scheme.

One is being carried out at number 8 Paseo de Mallorca in Palma, where there is at least one law firm, among other offices, as Europa Press has been able to verify.

Officers from the Armed Institute and the National Police have been deployed at the entrance. Vehicles from both forces have been seen in the surroundings, in which the officers carrying out the search have been transported.

The investigation is being led by an Investigative Court in Palma and is under summary secrecy, police sources indicated.

At the moment, the number of searches carried out, the items seized, or the number of arrests is unknown, but among them is the lawyer Ignacio Gonzalo Márquez, founder of GM Business Law Firm, according to publishes Breaking News.
