Five injured in an accident between an EMT bus and an SUV
The driver of the car has run a stop sign

PalmFive people were injured, all with a reserved outlook, in an accident between an all-terrain vehicle that ran a stop sign and a Palma Municipal Transport Company (EMT) bus.
The accident occurred around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sant Ignasi and Tomás Rullán streets, in the Son Gotleu neighborhood. According to the initial investigation, which was carried out by the Local Police, the driver of the all-terrain vehicle ran the stop sign just as an EMT bus was passing in front of it.
The car collided sideways with the bus and was thrown from the air, hitting another vehicle parked in the area. The sources consulted indicated that, thanks to the fact that this second car got in the way of the all-terrain vehicle, the people sitting on the terrace of a nearby bar were not injured.
The driver of the SUV and four people who were inside the bus at the time suffered several injuries. All were treated by the Emergency Services and transported to various health centers with a reserved prognosis.
The Local Police officers, who are preparing the report, are waiting for the driver to be discharged from the hospital so they can perform the corresponding alcohol and drug test. The accident and the subsequent response by the Emergency Services caused traffic jams and closures in the area for almost two hours.
