Four ports in Mallorca host rallies in support of the flotilla heading to Gaza.
The demonstrations took place at 7 p.m. in the ports of Alcudia, Portocolom, Sóller and Palma.

PalmThe Mallorca delegation of the Global Sumud Flotilla has called for rallies at four ports on the island this Sunday to show support for the flotilla leaving Barcelona for Gaza this Sunday to provide humanitarian aid. The rallies took place simultaneously this Sunday (at 7 p.m.) in the port of Alcudia, in front of the Sa Marina restaurant; in the port of Sóller, on the dock; in Portocolom (on the Ponent dock), and in the port of Palma (in front of the Balearic Islands Port Authority building).
The mobilizations, according to the organization, were prepared in collaboration with the individuals and organizations that organized the mobilizations. the marches for Palestine from July 31st in virtually all municipalities of Mallorca.
In Palma, for example, participants will march to the Cathedral to hang a large Palestinian flag and a banner in Dalt Murada. In Sóller and Potosí, a small group of boats will follow a symbolic route.
So far, nearly twenty entities, platforms, and associations have signed up, including Sóller for Palestine, Sóller Solidario, Es 4 Cantons, Amigos de los Closos, Peña Barcelonista Es Tamarells, Felanitx for Equality, OCB Felanit Palestine, Mallorca for Peace, the Mallorca Women's Lobby, and the Alcudiense Movement.
In addition, the following will participate in this solidarity mission: three Mallorcan sandalsLucía Muñoz, Palma City Councilor and Podemos coordinator in the Balearic Islands; Alejandra Martínez, activist and communications specialist; and Reyes Rigo, activist and healthcare worker.
