Interpol is asking for help identifying a woman found dead in Ibiza.
Investigators believe she is a sex worker, presumably of Romanian nationality but of Hungarian origin.
PalmInterpol has asked for help in identifying a woman, known as 'the Introvert', who was found drowned in Ibiza in July 2019. The National Police released this Thursday a message on social media next to the image of the woman, whose body was discovered by the occupants of a boat anchored 150 meters off the coast of the municipality of Santa Eulària.
The woman is estimated to have been born between 1989 and 1994, putting her age at the time of her death between 25 and 30. She was 160 cm tall, had fair skin, and brown hair. She had blue eyes and was found wearing only a black two-piece swimsuit.
Her absence was not reported by the occupants of any of the boats anchored there, and no missing persons reports were filed in the following days. It is believed that on the day of her death she had left in a black van to work on the boat of some wealthy clients from the Middle East.
An investigation carried out during 2022 and 2023 by the Balearic Islands Homicide Group determined that the woman was a sex worker, presumably of Romanian nationality but of Hungarian origin, who provided her services in the Ushuaïa area (Sant Antoni/Eivissa).
She was considered introverted, as she barely spoke to anyone. The people she interacted with did not know her name. She was usually accompanied by a thin, blond transvestite who worked in the area.
