PalmaThe National Police have arrested a man for his alleged involvement in the attempted kidnapping of a man who was found tied up on the road to s'Aranjassa, in Palma. The arrested individual is accused of an alleged crime of illegal detention.
The Robbery Group of the National Police has taken charge of the investigation to try to clarify the circumstances of the events and determine what happened. The proceedings remain open and investigators are working with the hypothesis that there could be more people involved.
According to sources close to the case, it was the victim's daughter who alerted the National Police. Her father contacted her after having been abandoned on the public highway and explained to her that, allegedly, several people had held him captive.
