A man arrested in Palma for two sexual assaults on female coworkers.
The events began when the alleged attacker went to the vehicle with one of the victims in a bar in an industrial estate, where several colleagues from the company had met.
PalmThe National Police have arrested a man in Palma de Mallorca accused of two counts of sexual assault committed in mid-July against two female coworkers, whom he intimidated and forced himself on.
According to a report from the Superior Police Headquarters on Saturday, the incident began when the alleged attacker, after leaving work, went with one of the victims to a bar in an industrial estate in the Balearic capital, where several colleagues from the company had arranged to meet. The man adopted a violent attitude and forced the woman to kiss him.
Hours later, he accompanied another female coworker home. On the way, he demanded a kiss from her and, when she refused, he stopped the vehicle and insisted several times until the victim gave in out of fear. He then groped her and sexually assaulted her, despite her opposition.
Following the complaint filed by the two women and an investigation by the National Police's Family and Women's Care Unit, the man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of both crimes.
