Two young men arrested for stabbing at the Cala Pi festivities
The victim received two stab wounds to his arm and side and remains in Son Espases Hospital.
PalmThe Civil Guard has arrested two young men accused of attempted murder for the stabbing of a hotel employee in the area during the Cala Pi festivities. According to the armed force, the victim is a 37-year-old man who was injured early Sunday morning after being stabbed during a fight at the Cala Pi festivities in the municipality of Llucmajor. The employee confronted the young men arrested because they were trying to illegally access the hotel pool, and they responded by stabbing him. The incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim, an employee of a local tourist establishment, with two stab wounds—one in the arm and one on the side—and he was taken to Son Espases Hospital with a reserved prognosis.
A Civil Guard patrol also dispatched to the scene and has taken over the investigation with the aim of locating the perpetrator.
