A minor steals a car at gunpoint in Calvià after escaping from high school

PalmaThe Calvià Local Police arrested a 16-year-old minor this Friday for pointing a simulated pistol at a woman to steal her car. Municipal sources explained that the young man left the IES Bendinat this morning by jumping over the barrier and when he saw the vehicle, he pointed a simulated short weapon (it was not a weapon with which he could shoot) at the driver and got into the car with the intention of fleeing the educational center.

Upon seeing the commotion generated, the local police officer who was regulating traffic at the entrance to the institute arrested the minor, who offered no resistance. It is now being assessed whether the young man suffers from any mental health problem.
