One dead and one seriously injured in an accident between a car and a truck in Palma.

PalmA 28-year-old man died early Tuesday morning in a collision between a car and a truck at kilometer 2 of the DT-5013 road in Palma, according to SAMU 061. The truck driver, a 68-year-old man, was seriously injured and trapped inside the vehicle.

Emergency services were notified of the accident at 6:40 a.m. Two advanced life support units were dispatched to the scene and transported the injured man to Son Espases Hospital in serious condition.
