Pilar Bonet will be sentenced this Thursday for defrauding more than two million euros from Globalia.
It is expected that, accompanied by his lawyer, he will ratify the written agreement accepting the charges and the sentence of two years in prison.
PalmFormer island councilor Pilar Bonet is scheduled to appear before the First Section of the Palma Provincial Court this Thursday to ratify the agreement in which she admits to having defrauded Globalia of more than two million euros while working for the company.
He is expected to ratify the plea agreement, accompanied by his lawyer, accepting the charges and the two-year prison sentence for authorizing payments through the company to personal accounts or those under his control.
Bonet has already acknowledged the facts and that, according to the psychological expert report, he suffers from an unspecified impulsive control disorder and, in particular, compulsive buying disorder, maladaptive, uncontrollable, and as an emotional regulation strategy, in addition to persistent anxiety and depressive disorder, one of the causes.
