Six tourists arrested for assaulting and breaking four vertebrae of a nightclub worker in Arenal
The agents located the attackers thanks to the information provided by witnesses of the events.

PalmThe National Police have reported the arrest of six tourists as alleged perpetrators of a crime of assault following an assault on an employee of a leisure establishment in Playa de Palma, resulting in four fractured vertebrae. According to a statement, at around 1:40 a.m. last Saturday, officers from the Operational Response Group, on plainclothes duty in Playa de Palma, were called by the staff of a leisure establishment for a serious assault inside the establishment.
The employees reported that a group of six men had attacked the restaurant manager for no apparent reason and that, as a result of the assault, the employee had lost consciousness and was lying unconscious on the floor. The officers attended to the victim, who, upon regaining consciousness, reported that he had been attacked in a coordinated manner by a group of six foreign men, whom he had called out for their behavior in the establishment. Thus, the officers requested medical assistance and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. Subsequently, and following statements from the victim and witnesses of the events, a search was established for the alleged perpetrators, who had left the premises together and running after the attack. Thanks to the information provided, including clothing and physical characteristics, the officers located a man inside a hotel near the scene. His physical characteristics matched those of one of the alleged perpetrators, and they identified him. Once the first of the alleged perpetrators was identified, it was confirmed that he was staying in a hotel and that he had carried out the attack.check-inalong with seven other men who shared a room.
The officers proceeded to locate the rest of the alleged perpetrators, at least two of whom showed "clear signs of having been involved in a fight due to the abrasions and injuries on their faces." Therefore, the six men were arrested as perpetrators of a crime of assault and were taken to police headquarters. The victim recognized the six detainees as the men who had attacked him.
