The first phase of the Renove Plan improvement works in Secar de la Real has concluded
The recent performances have meant an investment of close to 150,000 euros and are part of a global investment of more than 945,000 euros in the neighborhood
PalmThe Palma City Council has completed the first phase of the renovation of the pavement and improvement of accessibility of Alqueria Blanca and Na Bastera streets, within the framework of the Secar de la Real Renove Plan. These actions, which have had an investment of approximately 150,000 euros, continue the different interventions promoted in the neighborhood during the legislature, where the City Council has already allocated more than 945,000 euros to improve different spaces in the neighborhood.Among the actions carried out by the Road Service, the renovation of the pavement of Abat de la Real and Isabel de Sabrán streets, the improvement of the surface of the new bike lane on Infant Ferran street, and the construction project of the bike lane on Camino de los Reyes, in the Can Valero section, also stand out.For its part, the Parks and Gardens service has carried out various improvement actions in public spaces and green areas of the neighborhood. Among them, the remodeling of the playground area of Reina Sança Nàpols stands out; the replacement of the rubber pavement in Son Canaves park, where biosafety equipment and benches have also been installed; the incorporation of new biosafety elements and ping-pong tables in the Secar de la Real park; as well as the remodeling of Can Coll park, where three swings and two spring toys have been installed. Likewise, olive trees have been planted on the cycle path of Camí dels Reis, reinforcing the landscape and environmental improvement of the area.To all these actions are added those carried out by the Public Lighting service, which has renewed nearly 120 light points through the implementation of LED technology, which improves energy efficiency, reducing electricity consumption and optimizing lighting in different streets and spaces in the neighborhood.The Road Service's forecast is to carry out a second sweep of the neighborhood, to complete the improvement of the sidewalks and also to intervene in the neighborhood's asphalt.
