The strike continues at CEIP Son Pisà: 60% of students are not attending class in protest against Miquel Roldán
The strike continues at the school center awaiting a meeting with the Ministry of Education this afternoon
PalmThe strike at CEIP Son Pisà, which began last Wednesday due to the hiring of Miquel Roldán, a teacher convicted of harassing a former student, continued this Monday, pending a meeting with the Ministry of Education and Universities at 4 p.m.
The spokesperson for the school's Apima, Verónica Fillol, has explained that participation on the fourth day of protests remains at 60% of the center's 500 students, as, she indicated in statements to Europa Press, "families do not want to take their children to class".
Likewise, this morning they have hung posters around the neighborhood that read 'CEIP Son Pisà united. For a safe school', 'If they are not safe, we are not calm' or 'The problem exists, we must act'.
They have also placed the banner 'Children first, always' on the center's facade, which CEIP M. Antònia Salvà of Son Sardina maintained during the 11 days of strike due to the incorporation of the same teacher in October 2025.
